On June 24th, I'll be stepping far outside my comfort zone-and over the edge of Croke Park-by taking on a thrilling abseil challenge in support of Make-A-Wish Ireland.
This is more than just facing a fear of heights. I'm doing this to raise awareness and vital funds for an incredible charity that brings hope, strength, and joy to children living with critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish Ireland turns the unimaginable into reality, creating life-changing experiences for children when they need it most.
Every year, over 650 children in Ireland are diagnosed with life-threatening conditions-often losing out on the simple moments that make childhood so special. Make-A-Wish steps in to restore that magic. Since 1992, they've granted more than 3,350 wishes, including 214 in 2024 alone. These wishes aren't just moments of escape-they create lasting memories, lift spirits, and provide strength for both children and their families during incredibly difficult times.
