I will be taking on an exciting and challenging abseil from the top of Croke Park on the 24th of June to raise money for Make-A-Wish Ireland. This event is about more than just the thrill of stepping over the edge — it is about supporting an incredible charity that brings hope, joy, and unforgettable experiences to children living with critical illnesses.

Make-A-Wish Ireland works tirelessly to grant wishes for children and their families during some of the most difficult times in their lives. These wishes can create precious memories, bring happiness, and provide strength when it is needed most. Whether it is meeting a hero, taking a dream trip, or receiving something they have always wished for, the charity creates moments of magic that can have a lasting impact.

I chose to take part in this abseil to help raise awareness of the amazing work the charity does every day and to support them in continuing to make these wishes come true. By challenging myself to descend from one of Ireland’s most iconic stadiums, I hope to encourage others to learn more about the charity and, if possible, donate to this important cause.

Every donation, no matter the size, can help Make-A-Wish Ireland continue creating life-changing experiences and miracles for children across Ireland. Your support will help bring smiles, hope, and happiness to children who truly deserve it.

Thank you for supporting me as I take on this challenge and for helping make wishes come true. Niamh Kiely
